In November 2025 I was staying in a hostel in Ahangama, Sri Lanka preparing for my first solo exhibition and surfing all the time. I met a Swiss guy who showed me the instagram of a French photographer he had befriended in Byron Bay, Australia. Her name is Tania Buijtenhuijs (@tania_film) and she is an incredibly talented Ocean & Lifestyle photographer. I looked through her instagram and fell in love with this photo, among many others. I messaged to ask her if I could draw it and she happily obliged.
