Flo is a British visual artist working in hyperrealism. Working primarily with pencil and charcoal, Flo renders photographic references in painstaking detail, with each drawing taking between 40 and 70 hours to complete. Her practice currently explores how value is assigned to objects through cultural context, authorship, and perception. By drawing unexpected and culturally loaded subjects Flo prompts viewers to question why certain objects are admired, desired, or revered.

Having developed her practice through scholarship study and commissioned work in London, Flo is now based at Lagos, a contemporary artist-run space in Mexico City.
