I first saw this photo by Ocean photographer Noe Langronier (@noe.langronier) as a profile picture on instagram. Safe to say it's my all-time favourite photo ever taken. The photo is of Titouan Bernicot (@toutiess), Founder & CEO of Coral Gardeners, a non-profit organisation dedicated to saving the world’s coral reefs through restoration and awareness. I reached out for permission to draw the photo and Noe said yes. This drawing was the first where I used only charcoal: I wanted the depth of tone that made the perspective POP. It's my joint favourite drawing and really captures the viewer. Epic shot, one of a kind.
